We're Hiring: Athletic Trainer - Glendive Medical Center (GMC)

📍 Location: On-site at Dawson Community College, Glendive, Montana

🕒 Schedule: 32 hours/week | 10AM–5PM | School Year Only

We’re currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Athletic Trainer to join our team and support student athletes at Dawson Community College. If you're passionate about injury prevention, rehabilitation, and promoting overall wellness, we encourage you to apply!

What You’ll Do:

• Assess injuries and determine need for physician referral
• Provide first aid and emergency care
• Apply therapeutic treatments (e.g., taping, icing)
• Guide athletes through rehabilitation exercises
• Evaluate readiness for return to play
• Educate athletes, coaches, and parents on injury prevention
• Travel with teams to sporting events
• Perform additional duties such as drug screenings

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong communication skills
• Deep understanding of injury treatment and prevention
• CPR certification

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field
• National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) certification
• Montana state licensure
• 2+ years of experience preferred

Additional Details:

• Status: Non-exempt, hourly (bi-weekly pay)
• Seasonal Role: Active during the school year (off June–mid-August)
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs; prolonged standing, bending, and computer work
