Job Description

Sushi Note is now looking for qualified sushi chef/ sushi prep. This position is responsible for the preparation and service of sushi menu items; including daily inventory and inspection of all fish and sushi making ingredients in order to ensure quality control of raw materials. As well as working the sushi bar line to create a thoughtful omakase course for our guests.

The ideal candidate will have:
• E xperience in sushi preparation and excellent customer service skills.
• Has previous experience as a sushi chef. 
• Line cook experience is a plus.
• Able to follow recipes and take initiative in a guest service focused environment.
• Maintains a sense of urgency attitude for the completion of responsibilities/tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment.
• Consistently maintaining a high degree of cleanliness and organization with appearance, throughout preparation area, and sushi bar.
• Expediting and controlling quality of dishes.
