• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytical needs.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for data pipelines and reports.
• Identify and document data sources from each department and ensure proper mapping to business needs.
• Create and maintain data dictionaries for business terms, metrics, and KPIs.
• Develop and manage a data catalog capturing data lineage, source-to-target mappings, and ownership details.
• Work with data engineers to ensure pipeline and data model designs align with documented requirements.
• Define and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL pipelines and reporting solutions.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and regression testing to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with engineers for timely resolution.
• Validate report outputs against business requirements and ensure alignment with expected metrics.
• Act as the liaison between business users, data engineers, and BI/reporting teams.
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and provide training/documentation to business users where required.
