Overview

We're seeking a Field Service Technician to lead preventive and corrective maintenance efforts on line equipment. This role serves as both a technical expert and team leader, ensuring high equipment performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production line equipment.
• Conduct root cause analysis on mechanical and automation malfunctions, providing permanent resolutions or proper escalation.
• Support production post-maintenance to restore or exceed efficiency targets.
• Install rebuild kits and reinstate equipment to production with minimal disruption.
• Analyze performance issues and implement approved operational improvements.
• Manage and resolve claims, providing technical support and quality documentation.
• Deliver detailed service reports to the back office.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance line performance.

Travel: Up to 80% | This is a heavy field-travel role, you will be traveling to client sites most of the time and stationed there for 1-2 weeks, or as long as necessary.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in:
• Equipment manufacturing service industry (troubleshooting/repair)
• Carton and packaging technology (nice to have)
• Aseptic packaging technology (nice to have)
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills (mechanical and automation)
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement
• Must have a valid driver's license and passport for travel
